Noise

At Petrol, we measure and evaluate the noise pollution caused by operation of our facilities. Wherever necessary, we implement noise-reduction measures.

In accordance with the established legal guidelines, we provide annual noise assessment at approximately 180 locations within the framework of operational monitoring. Based on the results, we take the necessary organizational and technical measures.
For assessing environmental noise pollution load, we use a 3D acoustic model that takes into account the specific characteristics of the area, construction, and terrain. We are carrying out our activities in accordance with the Decree on limit values for environment noise indicators, while geographic definitions of specific levels of noise protection fall under the competency of individual municipalities.
