Vision of sustainable mobility

Transport is one of the most influential sectors in achieving the national goal of reducing greenhouse gases emissions and with this associated transition to a low-carbon society.

Renewable, alternative energy products

In Petrol, in accordance with the legislation on renewable energies in transport, we started to prepare and adapt the sales infrastructure for the introduction of alternative fuels to the points of sale.

Electromobility

In line with its commitment to sustainable progress, Petrol takes a key role in the breakthrough of mass electromobility in Slovenia and Croatia.

Strategic partnerships

As the chair of the Sustainable mobility section of the CER (Energy Solutions Center) economic interest grouping, Petrol has actively co-formed a consortium of stakeholders from the economy, academic and research spheres in 2016, and on the contest of Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning obtained a contract for the preparing a Study on the additional measures to increase the share of vehicles on alternative fuels in Slovenia and the proposal for a strategy for development in the field of alternative fuels. Petrol is strongly aware of the social responsibility, so it took a completely unprofitable approach in the work and with a lot of energy connected the stakeholders in achieving the goal of formulating a strategy proposal.
